edging along water features really helps to define
alongside of house- grass never lives well under those overhangs- so you had might as well make a bed area there with appropriate plants for the exposure, or just ground cover.
We can do this before or after pavers are laid. Much better than the plastic edge stuff they sell which costs $4 per foot and does nothing for you, not even keep the grass from growing into the gaps.
artificial turf - there are styles of artificial turf that look more natural than this one.
Artificial turf needs special installation technique call re base prep.
artificial turf with curb edge much better than plastic edge
Outstanding design
good use of curves near property line. curb is wet. wont stay this glossy
the island is hugged by the curve This design is graceful. Island could be bigger. avoid curves coming against each other- looks "pinched"
Curb can be BLACK- but there are extra steps involved that you need to do- also keeping it black takes some effort. This guy does a great job of caring for his curb. 3 years old in this photo
yes, we can connect lines with T style/ butt joints
Highlight /border a slab. We can do this AFTER the slab is installed. our competitors don't do this kind of work.
great design cooperation beween neighbours with small front yards .
Nice dry creek between properties
finish along the bottom of a step
another creative little path- note how we cut off the curb for a transition to a different material.
very cool precise c shape in front lawn-
very eye-catching- simplicity is beautiful
culvert in ditch. one way to do it . another idea is a big oval around the opening to hold rocks in place.
around deck- keep grass from creeping under- keep from mower damage to latice on raised decks.
swale for drainage wherever required grass wont survive between houses in many situations. Just cover it like this.
nice way to do swale between properties
keep from mowing against that wood fence
This will make a wide path of lawn down to the fire pit area
a new bed being added 12 years after the one on the right- and no one will notice.
big curves bouncing off each other. Nice.
keeps kids from cutting across corner lot
We can do good straight lines, but avoid them
rocks one side, grass on the right. I prefer the pleasant look of a gentle wave in these cases, but neighbours need to cooperate for that to happen . Here we did a straight border.
nice curvy path from front to back yard without high cost of pouring a sidewalk I think they plan to use gravel and flagstones
natural edging goes well with exposed aggregate . We do not do exposed aggregate curbs they are too troublesome, and expensive
one more solution for fence-line issues. Our competition can't go this close. WE have some tricks up our sleeve.
a firepit area
create an economical path /firepit area.
Gutter blended- to charcoal mower edge
Gutters are best where tripping on those aluminum leaders is a problem.
nice island of lawn in the middle.
Reflected lines fit together. a nice upgrade for what was a flat front yard lawn.
Interesting reflected lines perked up the boring front yard.
small stamped tree circle
Simplicity of mower edge is very attractive and maintenance free. No sealant needed.
edging along water features really helps to define
cute location for small island
Nice design-fill up long blank side yard with interesting shaped bed.
river of grass flows around the curve. Very nice
rivers of grass meeting- great design. not too wiggly, very graceful.
Very cute location for small island
very narrow front yard- a nice river flows through. Keep the lines more or less parallel for aesthetics.
very nice design on this renovation job.
keeps gravel where it belongs. creates economical beautiful pathway.
nice nearly parallel lines look best for paths.
nice path beside house breaks up the huge side yard.
our curb was poured first- then used as a form for poured exposed aggregate walk.
go around that obstacle!
keeps shale in place. Can you imagine this bed without the edging?
Charcoal mower edge
We do a lot of curbs around play areas to retain pebbles, mulch or foam.
We really resist putting straight lines along front property lines. This is a much more elegant solution.
nice clean definition to fix an undefined older bed area. just plant new sod in front of curb
strip and resod. create very dramatic new beds using older shrubs
reflected curb lines look better
We can do stuff like this if necessary.
almost the smallest circle we can make
either tuck it in like this or better- swing out wide and step in the bed then out onto the lawn. This eliminates the dead grass in front of step, and keeps grass from growing under where you cannot reach
interesting teardrop shape is actually easy to mow
a circle on every tree! we did 18 circles in this back yard.
here we solved a tricky problem retaining a sidewalk above the average grade.
Fixes dead areas under spruce trees
water feature edge- prevent grass migration into pond area- can you imagine weed-whacking between those rocks? This creates an easy to keep edge along boulders/water feature.
Big side yard
Along fence- curb saves fence from mowing damage
Curb can be BLACK- but there are extra steps involved that you need to do- also keeping it black takes some effort. This guy does a great job of caring for his curb. 3 years old in this photo
yes, we can connect lines.
Highlight /border a slab.
the island is hugged by the curve This design is graceful. Island could be bigger. avoid curves coming against each other- looks "pinched"
Tricky- most curb companies can't pull this off.
a transition step area created by patio
great design cooperation beween neighbours with small front yards .
Grass island created by curb- less lawn!
Corner lot design reduces cut-through
really interesting front yard design
interesting front yard design
very eye-catching
another creative littel path
very cool precise "C" shape in front lawn -creative- nice simple design front yard
culvert in ditch. one way to do it . another idea is a big oval around the opening to hold rocks in place.
planting area beside patio- will make the patio a more pleasant place.
around deck- keep grass from creeping under- keep from mower damage to latice on raised decks.
