Filling the Bed areas
Most people have materials – rock, garden mix or or mulch- delivered by a landscape supply company ( see our links page) , and install the materials themselves, or recruit family members to do the wheelbarrow work.
Simple way to estimate how much material you need: walk through the area to be covered. Visualize squares 3feet by 3 feet in size. Count them. Divide by 12. This is the number of cubic yards of material you need for a 3″ deep coverage.
If you cannot handle the work or can’t find help, please ask. While we do not actively pursue this line of work, we recognize the need especially for seniors. We can usually come up with a plan to have the work done economically.
