This is the second time we had them come out. We had them pour a border in our back yard for our new flower bed. Very professional, high quality work.

David and his crew were incredibly talented, professional and personable. David offered suggestions, provided options and is a perfectionist. We are thrilled with the finished product - and the experience.

David had a lot of good ideas and made it look really nice! I appreciated his timely service and good workmanship. Maybe next year we will do the back yard

Bruce    Edmonton    Landscape concrete curbing

Hired Dave at Best Curb to install curbing on a few homes, always completely satisfied. During my last landscape project, he was too busy and I was too impatient so I hired someone else. That was a costly mistake on my part.Thankfully Dave was gracious enough to come by and fix the mess someone else did. When I asked Dave to just rip everything out, and there was lots of it and just redo it, he said let me speak with my suppliers, maybe we can come up with a fix instead to save you some money. A week later he knocks on my front door to let me know he just repaired my curbing, it was fabulous and his above and beyond service and professionlism saved me thousands. If your looking for a professional, knowledgable AND ethical contractor for your curbing needs, this is the man and this IS the company.

Picture Perfect

We help to create picture perfect yards like these!

Most of the work in these photos was designed by us with the homeowner’s goals in mind.

Curbing is not just about finishes and colours. It is mainly about great design. people see the big picture, not the details of the finish on your curb.

It takes an artistic touch to make a landscape look as fabulous as these!

The comments on the photos are aimed to give you some design tips.

Here are a few pointers:

keep curves gentle

irregular curves are better than equal curves

Avoid symmetry!  Some people seem to feel they need it, but symmetry in a landscape comes across as forced and unnatural.

Consider the future growth of trees and shrubs. especially spruce trees

Consider areas where the lawn gets baked by reflected sun from the exposed walls of the house.

Under eave areas need consideration. They may need to be covered with rock or mulch because they do not get rain or sun

Consider privacy: location of screening trees from neighbouring decks, windows

EASY mowing! plan coming on and off the mowing edges smoothly with the mower

avoid straight lines of curb along property lines
